During publish, the generator creates search indexes for pages and structure items. Product search uses the same search engine when Webshop is enabled.
Visitor experience
Theme headers can include a search field. Visitors get typo-tolerant results with fast filtering. Webshop themes show product hits with images in the dropdown.
When indexes update
Republish or quick-deploy after adding pages, structure items, or products so search results stay current.
